The Project

A complex refurbishment of one of Whitehall's most historically significant government buildings, involving Grade II listed fabric, heritage interiors and extensive modernisation within a highly sensitive environment.

The Challenge

The project required the coordination of complex refurbishment, structural interventions, heritage requirements, specialist finishes, building services and numerous stakeholder interfaces.

Existing conditions, evolving design information and the constraints of working within a historic building required disciplined planning, close coordination and clear decision-making throughout delivery.

The Role
